Growth and Acquisitions
July, 2022: Clarience Technologies has acquired Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.), the world’s leading provider of automatic tire inflation systems for commercial truck trailers – effectively expanding the company’s technology portfolio to include tire-related technologies gaining widespread adoption as commercial fleets shift toward electric vehicles.
Nearly 30 years ago, P.S.I. started with a truly innovative concept of automatic tire inflation. During that time, we commercialized a concept that was initially referred to as a gimmick. Over time, customers began to recognize the value it delivered and its low cost of ownership. We had started a new global industry, and in North America it is specified on approximately 70% of all new trailers.
Throughout that time, we remained a privately held company. However, as the market rapidly develops new technologies, we also saw the need to change. As you likely already know, Clarience Technologies is a world-class organization known for its Road Ready telematics solutions, Truck-Lite lighting products, and its other companies, DAVCO, RIGID, Lumitech, ECCO, CODE 3, LED Autolamps and Fleetilla. The fit with Clarience Technologies is ideal, with shared leadership principles and a company culture that values its employees, customers and partners.
January, 2020: The ATIS Division of a leading commercial vehicle industry supplier was acquired by Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.).
July, 2019: 123 TrackMe™ was acquired by Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.).
123TrackMe was a proven telematics platform that was developed in 2010. It allowed commercial fleet operators to manage their tire costs for trucks and trailers online, in real-time, from any computer or device that is connected to internet. History reports can be generated for complete tire analysis.
TireView® and TireView LIVE™ by P.S.I. are the most recent culmination of these shared resources, bringing TPMS with Telematics capability to the Commercial Vehicle market.
April, 2017: Truck System Technologies (TST) was acquired by Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.). P.S.I. brought their 28+ years of industry knowledge, technology and customer service experience to TST.
Within months, TST began its climb through the ranks in the TPMS industry. After the acquisition, P.S.I. rebuilt the TST TPMS product to meet the grueling standards of the commercial vehicle market and to pass the test as an OEM standard component in the RV market.
Since its acquisition, TST has launched several new products:

TST is proud to be the Industry First TPMS offered as Standard Equipment in the RV OEM Market!
At this time, TST is the ONLY TPMS that is approved for OE Installation on every product in the Thor and Forest River RV Lines.

Our company literally started an industry. In the early years, it seemed like everyone you talked with couldn’t wait to tell you how unsuccessful we would be. The climb to the top of the mountain looked unattainable for us. Doors were slammed in our face, potential customers wouldn’t show for scheduled meetings and those that did said they had absolutely no use for our product. During this time, it became apparent that we needed a foundation to believe in -- a message that would keep us continuing to develop and market our product. Four Cornerstone Coins are this Foundation.
We chose the phrases you see on our coins because they reflected what would be required to be successful, in spite of what we were being told.
Each of our full-time employees is asked to pick the coin they would like to carry and they are challenged, when they accept the coin, to let its message make a difference in their lives with their God, their family, and their fellow employees.

Never Give Up
There were so many times that giving up would permeate into our thinking. Every turn was met with rejection; however, we never gave up on our dream. Today many of our customers are ones we called on for as many as 10 years before they bought our product. Persistence is a virtue and is mandatory when you are a pioneer.

One of our recurring themes in the early years was that we would not fail because we were willing to do whatever it took to be successful and to have our customers understand that we would always be there for them. Innovation is the key.

With attention to detail, deadlines and quality control. Every day they show up to make us all look good. To them we are grateful, and without them we would not be the Company we are today.
Manufacturing is done in cells, with the first being the control box. Following assembly, the box is calibrated to the customer-specified pressure. Other cells produce the hoses, axle tubes, plugs and Thru-Tee’s. The components are kitted according to the type of trailer, and then packaged and shipped to the trailer manufacturer for installation.
P.S.I. is focused on quality, achieving world class standards including ISO certification and most importantly, teamwork.
